Our IT client is seeking a Production Support Engineer for a long-term contract engagement. This person will join a team of Developers and Engineers with a mixed technical background.
Qualifications: Hands-on experience in UNIX & Oracle The ideal experience is someone that has supported Java and .NET applications Minimum 6 years of experience in Production Support/Software Engineering Passionate about troubleshooting software and system problems Strong knowledge and experience with SQL Experience with ETL Knowledge of Defect Management tools and Incident management processes. Ability to investigate and troubleshoot issues.
Very good Communication Skills Self-motivated and able to take on responsibility. Preferred Skills: Flexibility to work off-hours shifts - nights and weekends when needed Experience with Java Programming.
