JOB SUMMARY: Your mission (should you choose to accept it) is to review and moderate submissions on a popular social media platform. You will be the human element in the equation, serving an important purpose by removing content that violates community guidelines/policies and doesn't belong on the platform, which keeps its users safe and comfortable. This is an onsite position, working from our West Tucson location 2929 East Corona Road



KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



Review content (video, image, text) and conduct quality control, ensuring the content complies with local policies and regulations.


  • Become and remain knowledgeable about online community standards

  • Interpret and apply complex polices and guidelines to content

  • Review the reported content within agreed turnaround times and standards of quality

  • Escalate issues outside the company policy

JOB REQUIREMENTS


  • Minimum Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred

  • Customer service experience a plus

  • Phone-related customer service a major plus

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel applications

  • Bilingual language skills a plus

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Stellar customer service skills - and an overwhelming desire to make lives better, one interaction at a time

  • Ability to use phone and computer systems

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong listening/comprehension skills

  • Ability to stay composed and objective

  • Conversational, patient and confident, with a positive attitude





Minimum Education and Experience:


  • Must live in the Tucson, Az area.

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Consistent work history

  • Good computer skills including experience with using Windows and working between various applications/windows

  • Ability to speak and read in English fluently






Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Ability to handle viewing graphic and potentially disturbing content

  • Ability to react quickly and effectively with high attention to detail and fast learning ability

  • Ability to work required full time schedule within our 24/7 hours of operation (subject to change based on business needs)

  • Good understanding of social media pop culture

  • High level engagement

  • Consistently demonstrate a high sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure

  • Possess a high level of professionalism

  • Proven experience in overcoming unexpected difficulties and using logical problem-solving skills






WORKING CONDITIONS



Work Environment


  • A climate controlled, contact center environment - filled with amazing people, incredible career opportunities and the occasional dance-off

  • Constant usage of phone and computer systems

  • Constant use of headphones






Physical Demands



Constant sedentary work. You'll typically be sitting for most of the time, so be sure to get up and stretch once in a while. Your circulatory system will thank you.
