PART_TIME
We are seeking a part-time Caseworker to join our team! You will provide emotional and administrative support to youths in either individual or group settings. BATGO, Inc. provides a full range of therapeutic and career development services to the youth. The maximum caseload for the part-time position is 5 youths.
The Caseworker is responsible for managing certain aspects of the youth’s treatment program, including, but not limited to:
- Ability to interview the youth and review their personal history.
- Provide emotional and administrative support to youths in either individual or group settings.
- Focus on the youth’s psychosocial needs, treatment goals, and permanency plans.
- Conduct monthly and as needed home visits.
- Develop and execute individual treatment plans.
- Attending various meetings for the youth (i.e. education meetings, court hearings, Family Involvement Meetings).
- Communicate youth updates to all relevant parties.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and programs.
- Serve as the family liaison between the youth and their Treatment Foster Parent.
- Maintain accurate youth documentation.
Qualifications:
- At least be a Maryland Licensed Bachelor Social Worker (LBSW).
- Previous experience in social work, counseling, or other related fields.
- Have a compassionate and caring demeanor.
- Ability to build rapport with youths and Treatment Foster Parents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Driver’s license and vehicle to conduct home and community visits.

Experience:
- Child Welfare: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- at least a Maryland Licensed Bachelor Social Worker (LBSW) (Required)
