- The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting critical application infrastructure site reliability engineering of Middleware products such as IBM MQ, SOLACE. This role is responsible for driving 24/7 Operations and high availability of Messaging platforms.
- The candidate should be able to drive initiatives to improve performance, scalability, and resiliency.
- Candidate must be highly collaborative, able to effectively connect at various levels and facilitate faster resolution and decision making.
- Lead day-to-day operation support and ensure 24/7 high availability of Messaging platforms.
- + Lead incident management bridge calls and quick decision making for service restoration and root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent incident reoccurrence.
- + Drive initiatives with continuous improvements to help maintain high performance, highly scalable and resilient Infrastructure.
- + Ensure platform continues to meet technology compliance and standards, lead design and implementation of major product upgrades and migrations+ Collaborate with engineering, vendor partners and application support teams to identify underlying causes of system issues or patterns and implement solutions to improve overall system reliability.
- + Communicate effectively by bringing up risks and issues in a timely manner with leadership.
- + Drive adoption and streamline processes and methodologies by implementing reliability standards and practices.
- + Drive continuous improvement with Site Reliability Engineering focus to enable engineering methodologies and automations to drive efficiency.
- + Identify product/tool features improvement opportunities and provide strategic recommendations+ Acquire deep understanding of platform, provide guidance and mentorship to the team.
- + Provide strong leadership to a geographically dispersed team of infrastructure engineers and effectively prioritize as situation demands.
- + Contribute to People Management Strategy by helping build a strong team.
- + Cultivate a highly collaborative, inclusive, strong cohesive and productive team focused on accomplishing targets in timely manner in line with overall organization strategy and goals.
- A B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent major.
- + 10 years of experience in working with any Messaging Platforms+ Administer and handle IBM MQ, Cluster Full Repositories and SOLACE appliance configurations+ Experience in System Architecture design for High Availability and Load Balancing+ Solid understanding of various operating systems (AIX, Linux, Red Hat, Cloud etc).
- + Good understanding of IT Service Management Processes (ServiceNow, Incident, Problem, Change, Performance & Capacity).
- + Experience in traditional and agile project management methodologies applying appropriate frameworks+ Highly collaborative with strong leadership and communication skills.
- + Experience with handling geographically dispersed 24X7 operation support
- Solace Administration or IBM MQ certification is a plus+ Proven experience in Financial Services Industry is a plus+ Understanding of network and security concepts such as load balancing and routing, TLS, TCP, UDP, IP etc.
- + Has hands-on expertise with Java application design & software development+ Understanding of ITIL, SRE, DevOPs

- Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually bonus benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
