Are you a rising sophomore or junior who is seeking a career in sales? If so, this is an outstanding opportunity to join the King's Hawaiian 'Ohana (family) to learn from our sales team members. The summer Sales Intern will have the opportunity to work in the following areas of King’s Hawaiian Sales: Retail, Account Management, and Food Service. Throughout the summer, interns will be responsible to identify a current business opportunity, develop potential solutions, and sell & execute that plan to a retail account. The Sales Intern will culminate in a presentation to senior management to display accomplishments and takeaways at the conclusion of the program.



Job Requirements:

Planning & Coordination



Finding opportunities within a customer’s business



Developing multi-option solutions to seek current found opportunities



Preparing and executing sales plan for territory/retail outlet



Monitoring and adjusting plans after the execution has begun



Establishing and coordinating the logistic of the execution on your plan (timelines, resources, etc.)



Attending Regional and National Food Shows



Selling & Execution



Executing business plans through fact-based selling techniques and outstanding interpersonal skills



Selling King’s Hawaiian products and promotions to Regional Accounts



Leading all aspects of the execution of product/promotion distribution that you have sold



Skills/Experience:

Rising Sophomore or Junior currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in: Sales Management, Business Administration, Communications, Interpersonal Leadership, Entrepreneurship (other related majors will be considered)



Highly effective communication and social skills



Self-motivated with demonstration of being a phenomenal teammate (on or off campus activities; i.e. part time jobs or academic clubs)



Demonstrated ability to problem tackle and communicate



Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)



Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and/or weekends



Must have own car with current license, registration and insurance



Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
