What you'll be doing...


The Manager - Operations Support is accountable for strategic executive operations and governance reporting directly to the Executive Director in the West Network Assurance of Global Network and Technology (GNT).


This role will work with leadership, staff, vendors and key stakeholders on behalf of the Executive Director driving strategic operational, vendor management and capital projects.


These activities include but are not limited to :



  • Managing vendor resources to meet or exceed execution requirements on operational and capital projects.

  • Managing vendor preventative maintenance execution and billing.

  • Facilitating weekly / monthly reporting on all vendor activities to ensure they are meeting or exceeding expectations.

  • Managing executive presentations for project check points.

  • Providing timely escalation and facilitate get well calls for vendors are not meeting expectations.

  • Building excellent working relationships with sourcing to prepare alternate options and contract modifications.

  • Recognizing criticality of time sensitive turnaround times for executive materials and requests; ensuring all timelines are met or exceeded.


  • Analyzing business and performance metrics and reporting out on trends and strategic opportunities.

You like working with diverse people from all backgrounds and functions, at all levels, and have a knack for developing strong working relationships.


You'll need to have :



  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Willingness to travel.

  • Valid driver's license


Even better if you have one or more of the following :



  • A degree.

  • Four or more years of technology experience.

  • Project management experience.

  • Peoplesoft experience.

  • Skill in scripting and coding to automate many administrative and reporting tasks.

  • Ability to drive business critical initiatives to completion.

  • Ability to effectively influence beyond position and scope.

  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work productively in a team environment.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adjust the message based on the intended audience and format of the message (e.


g., verbal, written, slides).



  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent judgment, independent thinker, and resourceful.

  • Ability to anticipate needs and to act proactively.

  • Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to manage and drive change.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within time constraints and manage multiple projects.

  • Proficient in G-Suite, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), and Slack; expert in PowerPoint.

  • Comfortable taking on new technical or management skills with minimal prep in exceedingly short time.

  • Strong relationship building skills across all levels and the ability to lead through influence.

  • Impeccable integrity required for handling vendor relationships.
