Technical Support Analyst, Senior - Now Hiring

The Challenge:

As a technical support analyst on our team supporting VA's Event Management, you have the chance to use your hardware and software skills to lead a team to improve the monitoring and triage processes supporting the VA. You'll work with the incident management, problem management, and DevOps teams to detect, investigate, and diagnose system problems and defects across enterprise level applications and technology stacks and evaluate and modernize VA enterprise systems. You'll leverage your expertise of workflow systems and applications processes within multiple system environments. As a technical SME, you will work with system and network administrators to troubleshoot performance issues and outages.

This is your chance to develop your skills in enterprise-level triage and incident resolution while gaining experience in VA system infrastructure.This work may include shift support during weekends, holidays, or off-hours, as required. This position is on client site and two shifts are available, but are subject to change based on client needs, including 1st shift: 6:00AM - 2:30PM CST, 2nd shift:2:00PM - 10:30PM CST, and 3rd shift: 10:00PM - 6:30AM CST.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with Enterprise IT Operations, IT Event Management, and Network or Operations Centers

• 2+ years of experience using IT Monitoring Tools to troubleshoot performance and reliability issues

• 2+ years of experience working with a team to solve technical challenges

• Experience operating an APM tool, including AppDynamics, DynaTrace, Splunk, Aternity, SolarWinds, or ScienceLogic

• Experience with networks, Windows, UNIX/Linux, AWS or Azure Cloud, WebSphere Middleware, Java, VM Ware, Citrix, or databases

• Experience maintaining or troubleshooting complex IT systems, servers, networks, or infrastructure components

• Knowledge of large-scale cloud and on-prem IT Enterprise components, configurations and their interoperability

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

• HS diploma or GED
