Position Objective:


Provides day-to-day professional support for end-users of computing devices, associated networks, hardware, software, or peripherals. Resolve problems or handle incidents regarding the Corporate Devices and software applications, as well as setting up, installing, and configuring said devices and related equipment. Actively participates in AAF infrastructure-related projects as defined in the AAF Information Technology annual plan and assists in administrator duties relating to Corporate Device hardware, software, network, telecommunications, and security/access systems.



Key Objectives:

  • Configures and installs hardware or software that supports critical business needs.
  • Involved in the installation and rollout of new software packages, upgrades, and new desktop hardware.
  • Sets up and connects to peripheral equipment, including printers and scanners, and troubleshoots and resolves malfunctions.
  • Ensures systems and workstations are compliant with organizational policies and security standards.
  • Receives and addresses service requests from individual end users or from the help desk.
  • Develops and maintains documentation related to systems or workstations, and may provide user training.
  • Manages IT Assets.
  • Participates in planning and implementation of infrastructure and other IT-related projects.



Position Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred;

  • A+ Certification preferred, but not required;

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with technical support/Help Desk experience required;

  • Strong troubleshooting skills, problem-solving skills and decision-making ability;

  • Strong customer service skills;

  • Work well in a team environment;

  • Must be able to effectively communicate and interface with all levels of staff from clerical to executive management;

  • Must be organized, a self-starter and must have ability to prioritize work;

  • Strong written/verbal/listening communication skills (written and verbal English language proficiency is required);

  • Prior Service Desk experience required;

  • Prior experience in supporting a Microsoft Windows enterprise environment;

  • Telecom and WAN administration a plus but not required;

  • Prior iSeries experience a plus but not required;

  • Prior SAP experience a plus but not required;

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

  • Some travel, including international, may be required in this role – estimated to be 0 -10%.
