As part of RingCentral’s world class Marketing Automation team, you will help plan, coordinate, implement, and oversee the ways we share RingCentral’s message with the world. You’ll use data, technology, and creativity to target, communicate, measure, and adjust with precision— and share the story of a new, reimagined age of business communication with the audiences who want to hear it most.


You will partner with our Field Events team to bring online events to life, creating world class audience experiences. You will manage event campaign production, the event tech stack, and stakeholder relationships.


This role is primarily about event campaign production with about 20% focus on event technology and marketing technology integrations. 30% of time on Marketing Automation/Marketo; and 40% management of the team and events.


The successful candidate is able to scale campaign production within Marketo, SFDC, and event systems to deploy hundreds of events per year globally.


This role is ideal for a Marketo expert who wants to work closely with the business and on large global systems and teams. You will work with the top global experts in Marketo, Salesforce, and marketing technology. Responsibilities

  • Manage the Field Event Systems team and oversee day-to-day campaign execution and initiatives.
  • Run event journey request calls and ensure request documentation is accurate.
  • Manage the Field Event ticket queue, ensuring all requests are assigned, scheduled, and executed
  • Iterate our scalable event processes in Marketo to reduce time to deploy and meet new business requirements.
  • Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure the QA process is followed by all team members.
  • Enforce and communicate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with stakeholders and your team.
  • Collaborate with Events and Marketing Systems colleagues on Event requirements and translate them into working systems.
  • Perform testing of emails, pages, and data as needed and on time.
  • Escalate prioritization questions quickly.
  • Efficiently manage resources.
  • Lead scrum calls with event teams.
  • Investigate and make data changes and corrections.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in a B2B marketing operations or technology.
  • 3-5 years of daily Marketo experience, Marketo Certification required.
  • Must be self-motivated and passionate about Marketing Automation
  • Understanding of database concepts, email best practices.
  • Familiar with MS Visio or Lucid Chart, or similar process design tools.
  • Engineering mindset; strong technical background.
  • Related experience in marketing, technology, or marketing/ad agencies.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com and SFDC Reports.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel including Pivot Tables, formulas, and list management tools.
  • Learns quickly and asks a lot of questions.
  • Needs to be able to prioritize work.
  • Works with a sense of urgency.
  • Proactive. Knows when to escalate issues early.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Pleasant demeanor in fast paced organization.
  • Excellent spoken and written English as you will work with colleagues around the world.
  • Experience working in cross-cultural environments.
  • B.A. degree in business, marketing, or related field.


Preferred

  • Event Marketing experience - you have run and designed B2B enterprise events.
  • Bonus points for confirmed HTML/CSS skills.
  • Experience managing a team of 2 or more people
