Overview:
MyMedSupplies is now a part of Procare Home Medical. We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Customer Service Representative in our Operations Department. This position is responsible for coordinating the delivery of medical equipment and supplies to customers by working with doctors offices, insurance carriers, care coordinators, and the customers. Continuous responsibility for renewal of pre-authorizations, prescriptions, certificates of medical necessity, letters of medical necessity and other qualifying documents before expiration. The successful candidate must posses strong organizational and customer service skills, the ability to work independently or with others, and be proficient with computers.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with documentation staff and billers to maintain document compliance for existing customer accounts.
- Maintain professional relationships with referral sources and physicians.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Maintain valid and accurate documentation for existing accounts to ensure that documents are compliant for order processing, billing and reimbursement.
- Contact providers and referral sources to attain valid documentation for billing and claim submission.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player.
- Excellent telephone and interpersonal communication skills essential.
- Proficient computer skills.
