This role is an analyst position within the Global Lead Management and Partnership, part of the Global Strategy and Capabilities Organization in Global Merchant and Network Services (GMNS).

The Lead Management Team focuses on driving incremental spend and coverage through leads from issuers and other sources within GMNS. The team is responsible for building and managing a robust and scalable lead management platform, driving engagement across GMNS, and collaborating with lead submitters to ensure quality of incoming leads. The team also works on crucial retention initiatives for some of largest clients in Global Commercial Services (GCS). Improving global coverage is a critical priority for American Express, and this team plays a key role.

This role will manage the merchant leads process capability assigning leads to improve B2B coverage for GCS clients. This person will partner closely with GCS and technical team to evolve the leads program, as well as engage with GMNS Merchant Acquisition teams to drive incremental Active Locations in Force (Active LIF) and Booked Charge Volume (BCV) across all markets. The ideal candidate will be process-oriented with an analytical mindset and a strong partnership skillset someone who can help develop an efficient platform and use it to influence action.

Responsibilities:
  • Managing the B2B lead assignment process from GCS clients to Merchant Services US sales teams
  • Produce reporting analytics evaluating sales progress vs target for key stakeholders
  • Work with leader and internal business and technical teams to design a new global leads capability
  • Identify enhancements and opportunities to streamline the leads process flow
  • Drive a collaborative culture with key stakeholders, peers and managers across Merchants Services US and GCS partner stakeholders
  • Execute custom priority lead assignment requests to support key initiatives
  • Handle lead quality assurance and adjustments to ensure a quality pipeline

Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to work independently and deliver results through partnership and influence, strong project management skills
  • Strong skills in data management, reporting/analysis, and deriving actionable insights
  • Effective problem solving and quick decision-making skills, ability to prioritize, and take initiative and be resourceful
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex issues to a diverse audience (verbally/written)
  • Collaboration and relationship-building abilities within and across different teams, functions, and markets
  • Experience with salesforce.com functionality and general data architecture
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with Big Data platforms especially Hive, Python, or YellowBrick strongly preferred

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
