About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Accountability Specialist. This role will support the execution and maintenance of the Complaints Profile. Managing Complaints Profile processes, procedures, and associated job aides/guidance. Establishing processes and routines with the Customer Excellence Data Analytics (CEDA) and Enterprise Complaints Management Platform (ECMP) teams around Complaint Profile supporting technology and data.

The ECE Risk and Third-Party Governance group leads the ECE Risk Governance Program, ensures policy adherence, manages risks, facilitates issue management on behalf of the ECMO, and assesses control effectiveness of complaints processes including third party service providers. The ECE Risk Governance Program team focuses on design and maintenance of the ECMO Risk Program; KPI/KRI's, Complaint Profile, Self-Assurance, and Team Member Performance Standards. The team will monitor adherence to Operational Excellence thresholds and assessment of Controls, ensuring appropriate actions are taken in alignment with Issue Management policy. The team will also approve complaint business processes and procedures, Complaints training content, and will create and facilitate monthly ECMO risk management routines.

In this role:

  • Lead complex initiatives with broad impact which are designed to mitigate current and emerging business risk issues and concerns; act as key participant in large-scale, cross-functional planning for the business
  • Assess, analyze, and design complex and multi-faceted controls, protocols, and approaches with respect to risk mitigation and the control environment, including ensuring effective planning for sustainability, ongoing control adherence, reporting, measurement, technology impacts, and monitoring
  • Make decisions in complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business's functional area or products, operations, and regulatory environment; facilitate decision-making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans; influence and lead key business partners to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid to senior-level managers to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in interpreting, developing, and implementing risk-mitigating strategies
  • Act as liaison for the business with external parties to support timeliness, appropriate response strategy, and effectiveness of communications and materials
  • May lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Active Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) preferred
  • 4 years' experience developing cross-functional partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas (i. e. Risk, Technology, Compliance preferred) to accomplish business goals.
  • 3 + years' experience working with or in a Complaints line of business
  • 2 years' strategic planning experience, leading programs with multiple work streams and/or phases aligned, each with a defined scope and timeline, leading all to successful implementation
  • 2 + years' experience working effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, with an ability to interact effectively with executive leadership & other stakeholders
  • 3 years' working experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking: regulations, compliance, policies, process, and procedures
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate in an ambiguous environment or an environment where priorities may change quickly
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Job Expectations:
  • Available to work hybrid schedule - the position is not 100% remote.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Pay Range: 111,100.00 - 197,500.00 USD Annual
