Welder & Fitter

Description:

Candidate will be building weld tables and weld fixtures. The majority of their work is MIG wire feed on mild steel. Some of their work required more than just laying beads - they will need to do some mechanical fitting of pipes and tubes into the fixtures, and then weld the pipe. This involves more mechanical inclination above and beyond just welding.

-2+ years on the job experience MIG welding -6+ months experience doing something mechanical - pipe fitting, even working on their car, fabrication, etc. -6+ months sheet metal layout including needing to cut own sheet metal -6+ months blueprint reading on the job, able to do shop math
