Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the global leader in providing payments solutions for Small, Medium and Large/ Global businesses. The mission of the Business Financing & Supplier Payments (BFSP) team within GCS is to deliver a suite of payments solutions that make us the best choice for customers. We achieve this by being customer and competitor obsessed, delivering market leading value, and creating great experiences for our products.

As our customers are changing the way they work and pay, we have been evolving with them by developing B2B partner-embedded and automated payment solutions so that we are seamlessly integrated into customer ecosystem. B2B Partnerships with AP Automation platforms and ERP/P2P software providers emerge as key lever to capture B2B spend of Amex's Large and Global customers.

The Director, Product Management will report into the Vice President, B2B Partnerships and Go-To-Market and lead the strategy, roadmaps and go-to-market execution for key APA partnerships focused on large and global customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as 'general manager' for a product line of AP Automation solutions, with responsibility for achieving targets, setting the strategic agenda, and managing the health of the portfolio
  • Synthesize insights from customer visits, focus groups, competitive analysis, etc. to define and execute the product feature roadmap across solutions to optimize customer experience and business impact
  • Develop and execute the go-to-market sales effectiveness strategy across partners by collaborating with GCS Sales & Account Development teams and other key stakeholders
  • Support strategic initiatives across the B2B Networks & Automation team as needed, including the potential development of new product constructs
  • Collaborate with partners in Product Development to raise technical issues and prioritize development needs
  • Work closely with GCS Alliances team to identify new partnership opportunities and drive prioritization within partners' backlog.
  • Monitor key performance metrics, present to senior leaders, and track portfolio dynamics to help ensure issues are identified and resolved, and opportunities progress

Qualifications

  • Track record of delivering results in product management, strategy or product development role
  • Prior experience leading digital products and delivering a superior customer experience
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, thrives in fast-paced environment – bias for action, gets stuff done
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, ability to change course quickly based on new insights
  • Bridges connections across internal and external stakeholder groups and considers multiple points of view
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), comfortable presenting to senior audiences and across functional lines
  • Positive, flexible and proactive – and sense of humor a must
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience

Minimum Qualifications

Salary Range: $145,000.00 to $230,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
