What does a Squishable Store Manager do?
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively. Their duties include motivating sales teams, creating business strategies, and training new staff. In addition, the Store manager's responsibilities include:
- Opening and closing the market shop (at times on your own) and being responsible for the accurate handling of day-start/day-end cash
- Ensuring accurate maintenance of inventory levels and punctual restocking of merchandise on the floor
- Maintaining a high level of merchandise presentation
- Maintain enthusiasm and motivation in the shop and ensure a fun and memorable environment is created
- Assist in all types of POS transactions and inquiries
- Adhere to all company policies, practices, and safety standards
What are the Skills and Qualifications?
- 2-3 years of prior retail management experience, preferably in a pop-up, promotional or boutique environment
- Excellent commercial awareness and proven ability to meet sales targets
- Flexibility to work both evenings and weekends
- Ability to transport stock as may be required; lifting cartons up to 25 lbs.
Pay rate starts at $20-22 an hour
