As a lead process engineer, you will join the Commercial Banking Process Improvement and Intelligent Automaton team. Commercial Banking provides financial solutions to businesses with annual sales generally in excess of $5 million. Our business lines are Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Middle Market Banking, and Treasury Management & Payment Solutions. The Process Improvement and Intelligent Automaton team enables our business to adopt and execute a data- driven, continuous improvement approach to run and change our businesses, with measurable and sustained value to shareholders, customers and employees.

In this role, you will:
- Assist with the process model documentation of Wholesale Lending Operations front line business processes and their associated risks and controls
- Partner with aligned Business Control Managers and Operational Risk partners on RCSA readiness activities
- Lead group initiatives that encompass research and future state requiring application of specialized knowledge or skills critical to the redesign efforts
- Ensure effective relationships among the design teams and partners
- Develop root cause research and business case for proposed technology, staff and structure changes, including cost estimates
- Establish standards for measuring performance against process requirements utilizing formal process engineering tools and methods
- Ensure development of metrics that provide data for future improvement opportunities
- Ensure appropriate application of cultural focus, tools, and statistical approach
- Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
- Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
- Lead team to achieve objectives
Required Qualifications, US:
- 5+ years of Process Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong facilitation, time management, organizational and influencing skills
- Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Experience with large programs in a financial institution
- Experience with training programs
- Knowledge and understanding of Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) software such as iGrafx
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage complex projects in a large enterprise environment
- Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
- Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations
- Experience interacting with leadership and building relationships
- Ability to influence and collaborate at all internal organizational levels
- Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
- Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft SharePoint
- Consulting experience with a big 4 firm
