With direction from the Procurement and Operations Manager, the Design Studio Purchasing & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for in office purchasing, warehouse organization, assisting with reconciliations, and data entry on behalf of the design team.
Essential Functions:
· Assist design team in entering design specifications into DesignSmart
· Maintain design studio appearance, ensuring install supplies are in good condition and available
· Assist Procurement & Operations Manager in coordinating with warehouses and crews for storage and installation of projects per scheduled installation dates to meet client’s needs
· Work with warehouse and manufacturers to handle damaged goods, coordinate efforts between warehouse and manufacturer to resolve issues to still meet project deadlines.
· Receive deliveries and inspect shipments for accuracy and quality
· Assist remotely during installations to handle issues that may arise regarding damaged furniture, missing furniture, and situations that need addressed immediately upon request from designers in the field during installations.
· Create, track and monitor purchase orders and vendor correspondence
· Ensures that purchasing documents are complete and accurate
· Assist in processing invoices for purchased goods and services
· Reconciling receipts with credit card statements
· Supports Design team on special projects as requested
· Performs other duties as assigned by management
Work Environment:
· Sitting for long periods, standing, and walking intermittently
· Using office equipment such as computer, mouse, keyboard, printer
· Indoor office environment, temperature controlled
· Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear and taste or smell.
· Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
· Use specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

· Receptive to advice and direction from senior staff
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in an administrative/purchasing role; interior design industry is a plus.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
