Bosselman Travel Center Environmental Services/Maintenance Associate

New Higher Starting Wage - Up to $17.00 Per Hour DOE

The Travel Center Environmental Services/Maintenance Associate is responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of the Travel Center.

Bosselman Travel Center offers on-demand pay (access to earned but not yet paid wages) through:

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, stairs and retail space, including waxing and stripping floors.
• Maintains building, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
• Paint inside and outside the facility.
• Notify management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
• Notify management of any customer complaints.
• Clean snow and debris from sidewalk.
• Power equipment operation, including power washer, mower, etc.
• Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the Travel Center complex meets company standards.
• Maintain restrooms, checking for cleanliness and re-stocking supplies.
• Complete entire work list each shift.
• Keep all cleaning supplies stocked, labeled, and properly stored.
• Each shift wipes down all equipment and game machines, thoroughly cleaning them once per week.
• Practice all company safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for employees and customers.
• Providing friendly and competent customer service.
• Reporting for work in a timely manner when scheduled.
• Answer radio calls promptly.
• Ensure parking lot is free of trash and debris.
• Clean/detail dispensers each shift.

Additional Job Duties:

• Assisting in other duties, as assigned.

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed):

• General maintenance and/or custodial experience preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to change when required.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
• Must be well groomed and properly attired.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and any shift needed.
• Must have reliable transportation and phone.
• Must be able to communicate in English. – IF APPLICABLE

• Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.
