Job Description


Strong candidates will have Three to Five years' experience supporting medium to large applications, working directly with internal clients, and Three to Five years' experience providing advanced user support of Windows, MacOS, and Linux systems. Experience with Automation Scripting, PowerShell, Python, HTML, CSS, Java, or other scripting languages preferred. Must be self-driven to develop a working knowledge of assigned task or project, interact effectively with technical and non-technical resources, and quickly establish comfortable and effective working relationships. Demonstrate Strong communication skills, work Independently, strong methodology to resolve complex instances, manage multi-tasking, and goal driven to meet deadlines.


As a member of the NetSuite IT team, you will develop a complete understanding of the Oracle NetSuite products and services providing support to internal employees. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:


• Maintain Support services utilized by the NetSuite Global Business Unit


• Provide site support to internal customers


• Interact with global team members to find solutions within an evolving environment


• Support internal customers with incident requests submitted through messaging service and


ticketing systems


• Supporting High end DevOps users running on Non-Standard hardware (Windows - Mac -


Linux)


• Support of developer tools and services


• Reimaging Windows laptops with Oracle Base Image provisioning


• Gather relevant information from customers to address problems of limited scope or escalate


to next tier of support according to established (SOP) Standard Operating Procedure


• Follow SOP in analyzing situations or data where answers can be readily obtained.

Responsibilities


As a member of this fast-paced, leading edge database/applications company, work with the team to deliver real time 24x7 enterprise-wide technical support for internal and/or external customers. This includes, but is not limited to: user support of business applications, troubleshooting of technical problems and acting as a liaison between customers and resolving groups.


As a member of the Support Services, solve specific, complex technical problems to provide and apply real time solutions in the areas of: Email problems and functionality questions; Data Communication/Network troubleshooting; Oracle Base Image/Windows imaging laptop support; Innovate and document new methods and procedures as needed. Verify procedures are being followed and notify proper resource if they are not in compliance. Lead/mentor in a team environment. Assist in providing information and support to team members.


Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Prefer five years of related experience in a medium to large network distributed and computing environment and a BS in Computer Science or related field.


Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)


New York City Pay Range: from $28.08 to $49.18 per hour; from $58,400 to $102,300 per annum; eligible for equity.


Colorado Pay Range: from $25.10 to $46.59 per hour; from $52,200 to $96,900 per annum; eligible for equity.


Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.


Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
